Wildfire Adapted Partnership was formed in 2003 after the 2002 Missionary Ridge Fire North of Durango in La Plata County. We are proud to have more than 150 Volunteer Neighborhood Ambassadors who are the backbone of our organization. Ambassadors work as a catalyst within their neighborhoods to create wildfire adapted communities.
