If you are a landowner in Montezuma County and want to learn about protecting your home from wildfire, join us on Saturday May 18 from 12:30-4 for a FREE Fire Preparedness Bootcamp! Mancos Conservation District, Wildfire Adapted Partnership, and many agency partners (see below) are excited to host an inclusive workshop that will help you learn about defensible space, chainsaw safety, slash management, burn piles, chipping, funding opportunities, and networking with fellow landowners. The workshop will take place outdoors, so please dress accordingly. This workshop is free with a suggested $10 donation.
