WAP Receives an NDME Grant for La Plata County

The Natural Disaster Mitigation Enterprise (NDME) Grant Program is a Colorado state initiative created to help local governments plan for and reduce the impacts of natural hazards before they occur. Funding from the NDME supports community resilience efforts by funding mitigation projects that directly lower risk from disasters such as wildfires, floods, drought and landslides.

In partnership with the La Plata Conservation District and NRCS, WAP is excited to announce that we are the recipient of round 2 of the NDME grant opportunity!  This funding will be used towards mitigation efforts in La Plata County County. You can see the complete list of funded projects here:
